France

Even with declining local consumption, France is still home to the world’s most diverse wine culture. Curious wine lovers will still find what they are looking for from France’s unique wines. Brands are hard to come by – local producers instead create discreet variations best enjoyed with table food. For more French wine choices, please view our Clarus Wines catalogue. If you require further supplier or product information, please contact your local RWM office.

Ayala Champagne
Burgundy

With 130 hectares of vineyards including 12 in Grand Cru appellation and 74 in Premier Cru, Bouchard Pere & Fils has, by far, the largest potential for premium grape selection in Burgundy. In 1995, Joseph Henriot took over the destiny of this prestigious house that was founded in 1731. Since then, no expense has been spared to continue the ascent to the very top of the Burgundy producers – no small feat considering the sheer number of committed growers in Burgundy today.
